Our Story

Born from the Kenyan Savannah

NLSNPK was founded to address a persistent and often overlooked crisis: the lack of safe, adequate housing for Kenya's nomadic pastoralist communities in Marsabit County and surrounding regions.

Pastoralists in northern Kenya face extreme housing vulnerabilities — exposed to harsh weather, disease, and insecurity. Our work brings together community elders, local builders, and development professionals to co-design solutions that blend tradition with sustainable modern practices.
